Governance

As a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, ANMAC advances nurses' and midwives' education, training and professional competence.  

ANMAC is governed by a Board of Directors as set out in our Constitution, which provides the framework for our operations. 

ANMAC has established board committees and technical advisory committees with the specific purpose of providing support for governance and legislated functions, and to ensure the realization of our strategic goals.

Strategic Planning

ANMAC’s vision is to safeguard the health and well-being of the Australian community through a skilled and culturally competent nursing, midwifery, and healthcare workforce, advocating for equitable access to healthcare, and promoting cultural safety. 

ANMAC’s mission, values and strategic objectives are encompassed in our Strategic Plan 2024-2027.
