The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) helps protect the health and safety of the community by promoting high quality standards for nursing and midwifery education.

What we do

ANMAC helps to protect the health and safety of the Australian community by establishing high-quality standards of nursing and midwifery education, training and assessment. ANMAC is responsible for developing the content of accreditation standards and determining whether programs of study for nurses and midwives seeking to practice in Australia meet the required education standards.

ANMAC's Skilled Migration Services is responsible for assessing the skills of nurses and midwives who want to migrate to Australia under the General Skilled Migration program.
