These accreditation standards detail the minimum requirements to be met by higher education providers wanting accreditation of their program of study by ANMAC. Once an education provider has a program accredited by ANMAC, it is eligible to be listed as a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) approved program of study.

Please note: The NMBA approved the following amendment to standard criterion 1.3 on 1 June 2018. Correspondence (140 KB) was provided to all education providers regarding this amendment on 28 June 2018.
1.3 The education provider must provide evidence of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) National Registry for the award of Masters Degree (Level 9) as a minimum, includes the term nurse practitioner in the named degree.
