ANMAC is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.
Under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme, we are the appointed accrediting authority for nursing and midwifery in Australia in accordance with the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law 2009.
Constitution
ANMAC’s Constitution is the framework for how we operate. It outlines our system of governance, the powers of our Board of Directors, and the rights and obligations of our members. Our Constitution (379 KB) is a public document.
Governance Structure
ANMAC’s governing committee is our Board of Directors. The Board is established in accordance with and governed by the provisions of our Constitution.
The ANMAC Board comprises representatives and directors from a wide range of stakeholder organisations, enabling us to maximise robust expert and community input into our governance decisions. Directors are selected for their skills, knowledge and experience.
