ANMAC is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.
Under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme, we are the appointed accrediting authority for nursing and midwifery in Australia in accordance with the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law 2009.
ANMAC’s Constitution is the framework for how we operate. It outlines our system of governance, the powers of our Board of Directors, and the rights and obligations of our members. Our Constitution (379 KB) is a public document.
Board of Directors and Board Charter
ANMAC’s governing committee is our Board of Directors. The Board is established in accordance with and governed by the provisions of our Constitution (379 KB).
The Board’s Charter defines its purpose, duties and responsibilities. Board members follow the Charter when conducting their business for ANMAC.
