The ANMAC Board met on Tuesday 18 June 2013 and agreed to the recommendations made by ANMAC's Standards, Accreditation and Assessment Committee.
ANMAC notes the increase in the number of dual degree (Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Midwifery) programs being offered by higher education providers in Australia. These programs require assessment against two sets of Accreditation Standards – those leading to registration as a registered nurse and those leading to registration as a registered midwife.
Education Providers with an ANMAC accredited HLT51607 Diploma of Nursing course will have their program updated to the HLT51612 if they provide the following evidence to ANMAC...
On 1 July 2013 this document was superseded by the new Registered Nurse accreditation standards (440 KB). ANMAC will no longer accept applications using the old standards.
